WELCOME

Dear Fellow Conservationists,

It is my pleasure to invite you to join us as we celebrate CPSG's 40th Annual Meeting! Generously hosted by San Diego Zoo Global, the 2020 CPSG Annual Meeting will take place - virtually - 7-9 October.

There has never been a more important time for our community to gather. The energy, motivation and inspiration we count on absorbing from each other at the CPSG Annual Meeting is the emotional antidote we need to counter these months of unprecedented stress, hardship and isolation.

The CPSG Annual Meeting is a working meeting with an informal, open, and highly interactive atmosphere. Our Mission is to save threatened species by increasing the effectiveness of conservation efforts worldwide. Through plenary presentations and working group sessions, participants will learn about, discuss, and find ways forward on issues of great importance to the conservation community.

If there is a topic you would like to work on with fellow conservationists from across the world, we invite you to send your ideas to office@cpsg.org. Your participation and input will be greatly valued.
